RCE and our forestry technical experts began providing forestry verifications services in 2014. RCE maintains an ISO 14065 accreditation in the Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land-Use (AFOLU) scope allowing us to work with project developers and landowners to validate and verify the integrity and accuracy of their GHG emission reductions. RCE has a wide variety of forestry project experience and project types we can verify include:

RCE has partnered with Forest Resource Solutions and Technologies (FRST) for all our forestry services. Founded in 2018, FRST is a forestry and environmental consulting firm that provides custom forest and vegetation management solutions through the professional application of innovative technologies and science.

  • Located in California’s Northern Sierra, FRST is committed to high-quality professional service and client care, the conservation and wise use of natural resources, and strong business and land ethics. The company’s staff includes CA Registered Professional Foresters and other specialists that have a range of forestry skills and expertise.
  • FRST Corp specializes in timberland management, forest inventory, forest carbon project verification, regulatory compliance, and geographic information science. The company serves a wide range of clients including non-profit NGOs, industrial timber companies, small private landowners, local government agencies, multinational corporations, and carbon offset development firms. RCE has applied our forestry expertise for multiple programs including: Climate Action Reserve, American Carbon Registry and the California Air Resources Board. In addition, in conjunction with our regional office in Mexico City we now offer forestry verification services in Mexico and other Latin America countries.
