RCE can serve as your consultant or third-party assurance provider, but not act as both. Through either role, RCE can help usher your organization towards its next phase of sustainability.
RCE’s experienced GHG professionals have proven to be a focused one-shop stop for assessing organization’s emissions profiles, identifying emission reduction opportunities and projects, and reporting GHG emissions to programs across North America.
RCE has grown to become one of the only accredited verification bodies to offer services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America, completing over 200 verifications annually in 2018 and 2019.
RCE has built its reputation on providing high quality environmental assurance services and maintaining strong client relationships when evaluating or developing sustainability goals, strategies and action plans for businesses or communities.

Programs Where We Work
RCE began working with airports in 2015 to verify their GHG emissions for the Airport Carbon Accreditation program. In early 2020, we received our CORSIA accreditation from ANAB and EMA to provide airlines with verification services for this new international program.
RCE became a California Air Resources Board-approved verification body in 2012 for the Compliance Offset Program. RCE works with Forestry, Livestock, Mine Methane Capture and ODS offset projects. RCE joined the Mandatory Reporting Program in 2015 and in early 2020 was accredited for verification with the Low Carbon Fuel Standard program.
For almost a decade, RCE has been offering GHG validation and verification services in Canada. RCE began working in British Columbia in 2011 and since then we have expanded our services to Ontario, Alberta, and Nova Scotia.
RCE’s first project in Latin America was in 2015 and we opened our Ruby Canyon Mexico (RCM) branch in Mexico City in 2017. RCM’s focus is on corporate/facility reporters in Mexico’s mandatory GHG reporting in the National Emissions Registry (RENE) program and the voluntary Programa GEI. Beginning in 2018, RCE and RCM have been busy validating and verifying offset projects in Colombia’s carbon market.
Since 2010, RCE has been active in all North American voluntary GHG programs, especially with projects in the Climate Action Reserve and Verra’s Verified Carbon Standard.
